1. Responsible party and purpose
Smart Dev publishes Smart Hub TV as an application to organize, browse, and playback media libraries on Apple TV. Contact: [email protected].
2. Information the app may process
Smart Hub TV may process server addresses, usernames, tokens, credentials associated with sources configured by the user, local settings, playback history, favorites, progress, and interface preferences.
When optional integrations are enabled, the app may exchange technical identifiers, authentication tokens, and minimal metadata necessary to operate with services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Plex, TMDB, Trakt, and iCloud.
3. How Smart Hub TV uses Google Drive OAuth data
If the user connects Google Drive, Smart Hub TV requests read-only OAuth access only to list folders, display file metadata, and stream the media file selected by the user on Apple TV.
Smart Hub TV does not copy, upload, mirror, cache, sell, rent, or share Google Drive files or Google user data. Google user data is not used for advertising, user profiling, or training artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
OAuth tokens are stored on the user's device using platform security mechanisms when available. The user can disconnect Google Drive inside Smart Hub TV or revoke access from the Google Account permissions page at any time.
4. Limited Use compliance
Smart Hub TV use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Sharing and security
Smart Dev does not sell personal data. Information is shared only when strictly necessary to execute integrations and features enabled by the user. Reasonable security measures are applied to protect credentials, configurations, and operational data.
6. User rights and updates
Users can unlink accounts, revoke third-party authorizations, uninstall the app, or contact support about privacy questions. This policy was last updated on April 24, 2026.
